What this site records.
The website keeps a simple aggregate count when a full Grimhold release download completes successfully. That counter is not tied to an account and the website code does not create a visitor profile from it.
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Grimhold uses an essential session cookie when you log in or use forum forms so it can maintain your session, remember your guest number, and protect forms. As with most websites, the web server or hosting provider may keep ordinary technical and security logs such as IP address, request time, requested path, browser user agent, and error information.
The website validates your login against the live Grimhold account file but does not store a second copy of your password. Logged-in forum and developer blog content stores the posting account ID and username. Guest forum posts store the selected display name, an automatically assigned guest number, and the post text. Anti-spam rate limits use short-lived IP-derived keys. Uploaded gallery images and editable page content are stored in persistent website state. Those records and standard server logs are separate from the lightweight download counter.
